hello all. i've messed with the PC hardware a lot, disassembling and taking out power cables and what not and fixed my previous problem where my cpu did not boot at all. In the end the only thing I changed was the processor, and now that I got them all hooked up, it crashes when I load the Windows 2000 screen. I try and pop in the Windows CD's i have and try to reformat that way, but it also doesnt work(it reboots as soon as it loads something from the hardware or tries to run Windows.)
So im quite stumped here and am gonna try a BOOTDISK and format it, but I have no other clues what to do here.

**An update** When i put in my Windows 2k pro cd and boot it up, it now loads the screen where I am able to choose 3 options, the windows setup, the cmd option and the exit option. When I choose the cmd option(so i can format c:) it says "Examining disk configuaration"
then it says
"Examining 114471 MB Disk 0 at Id 0 on bus 0 on atapi"
reading the "Disk 0 at Id 0.." I knew that something was wrong there.. help please

I can't say I understand what problem you're trying to describe here, but I can tell you that nothing is wrong with "Disk 0 at ID 0". That's the first physical drive/partition on a computer.
