windows 2000 (can't add/rmv progs)

i have installed several programs already (ms office, winamp, etc.) but when i want to remove one, the remove option in "Add/Remove programs" is greyed out. this is the case for all the programs in the list. the prompt "class not registered" shows up. what does that mean? also, the clock tends to move sometimes up to 15 minutes ahead and i have to keep on resetting it. what is happening and how do i fix this?
