Read about the problem with windows 2000 and outlook 97. I have nearly the same problem when a user klick om the icon they get a message that they do not have the right to open the program, you must be an administrator!!!!!
Any idea???

W2k implements a hihger security level then nt4 on its registry keys. Therefore som parts of the Off'97 ( ie outlook '97 )installetion require adjustments to specifik registry keys security. This is "by design". What you need to do is to go regedt32 and change security settings for the relevant office keys .
