Can I find a download in order to optimize my printing functions in Windows 2000, if my printer ia the durable but old HPLJ II? I seem to get function slowdowns with Word that seem to be printer driver related ie while I print new Word functions slow down or freeze. Any thoughts on locating an optimal driver. It doesn't seem to exist on the HP Web Site unless I want to take my chances with an NT specific download.

Use The Printer as "Laser Jet" The Laserjet II is compatible to this.

This was of no help. I still need a new driver(s) to allow smooth functioning of my HP Laserjet II in Win2K. Any answers? THank you.
