I just bought a computer from school and the "computer taskforce" left all their administrator crap on it, i solved the password to get into the admin account but now i want to remove all of their administrator programs as i don't need them. The most annoying thing is the secure login. All i want is windows without all the controllers and components.

Right click the task bar go to advance tab uncheck display admin tools. For the password start/ setting/ control panel/users and password/uncheck user must enter a user name and password to use this computer.

Get a Windows 2000 CD and re-install it. Then specify a new password for yourself and keep secure login, especially if connecting to Internet. The security features are there fore a reason, and you are a fool if you disable them. It's best to enable 'CTRL+ALT+DELETE' at logon, but you can have a normal logon screen aswell. Maybe it was the CTRL+ALT+DELETE that was bothering you. CTRL+ALT+DELETE is there to keep your password secure.
As you are obviously a home user, I'll point out that you should maintain your PC as your sys admins would (or should) at school, runing CHKDSK, disk cleanup and disk defrag regularly. If you don't, you're asking for trouble. Often the admin stuff can prove useful on a home machine, so don't be too quick to slag it off. Just remove any propietry admin software that the tech support guys were using and you'll have a normal Win2000Pro OS. Win2000 is designed to be secure and above all reliable. You're daft if you remove any of this, because you'll only moan later when your system stops working because your sistor or parents have messed up the system settings.
