Just moved from W98 to 2000 Pro. Having issues that I would love to use Winconfig to resolve. Is there such a beast in W2000 or am I out of luck?

If you mean MS config No W2K does NOT have it. However Microsoft have put it back in XP and that version works with W2K and NOT the 98 one. The file is available as a download from Microsoft

If not msconfig...then you're looking for winipcfg.exe which is used in regard to your network settings. If that is what you're talking about, then open a command prompt window and type: ipconfig /? for info on the ipconfig tool.
