Comment:
Just installed win2k on its own partician, now when i get bootmanager i get to select but when i select winme, it gives me a boot manager from win2k and only about 2 secs to select it.
Is there a way to make boot manager automatically boot the winme without the win2k bootmanager? Can i disable the win 2k bootmanager?

I had a similar problem with Win98SE / W2K dualboot and Partition magic 6.
See the post 83178 in Win98 that worked for me.

In the W2K control panel/computer management/folder, at the top of the list is "Computer Management"(Local). Right click on it and go into Properties. The bottom of the Properties dialog is "Startup And Recovery" . Open that and set the default boot OS and the time the boot menu appears.
