I am setting the win2kpro using Termianl client to connect the application server.
I use Client connection manager to create a shortcut to sbserver with full screen.
Now I want to all users on this win2kpro to use this shortcut, but won't work, they logon and can not see this icon/shortcut, why, how.... I really don't want create on each guy's profile a different named connection shortcut. --See, different users can not even create same name of connection shortcut in their own profile. WHy?Thanks from gping@ozemail.com.au

I believed that I have tried that way.
copy the shortcut to c:\temp and security open to all.
But other user clicks it and it will prompt Tclient settings, wont use the standard settings & full screen.
would u pls try again.

You have to copy it to the All Users Desktop folder, not the Temp folder. Also, if you are copying a shortcut, make sure everything that shortcut points to is correct (it's on another machine so the paths might be different)....

Could you guys make test for what you have suggested. It is not the problem for the shortcut in anyone's desktop, and not to set security to allow everyone full access this shortcut.
The problem is:
I, as admin/group, create the TClien connection shortcut (setting the name, server, full screen, etc), and put it wherever public place (c:\temp, or All users' desktop), as well the full access for everyone. Then I relogon as a normal user, he can see this icon, but click it, will be asked to input server name/addr, screen settings, .. ie. all previous settings are missing, He need set them again.
I want all user do the same job (so a standard setting fix all). So how /why not work.
Anybody knows where the settings kept, maybe I could shortcut c:\TClient\Tclient.exe c:\temp\setting.inf
???
Help pls, and thanks for your time.
