I have a win2k box that i have been running a server on. I have recently added some programs that i need to run on startup. I can do this fine with on the console. However when i connect remotly i seem to get a different instance of the program. I was wondering how i could get each user to have access to a static program so that i could edit the program remotly on the console. Thanks

When you say 'connect remotely' what app are you using? If you are using Terminal Services then it will always create a new session, thats how it works. Try using something like VNC, which simply sends the screen data of the existing session.

Yeah i was looking into trying that. However I was told that there is a way to install programs and run them as a service i believe. This will allow each user to acces the same instance of the program. Is that do able?

The applications can just run on TS, you only need to install the programs with add/remove programs instead of running from the cd setup.exe
