Sure you can create a Boot Disk and burn it to a CD (Called El-Torito Bootable CD) which has DOS on it. However if your Windows 2000 Hard Drive is formated with NTFS a DOS Bootdisk will not allow you to gain access to it. DOS does not recognize NTFS. If the Drive is Fat or Fat32 your Ok. But you have a million issues with this approach. In DOS the Voodo 3dFx card is plain jane VGA/SVGA, you will need CDRom Drivers for DOS, Sound Card Drivers for DOS, Gamepad Drivers for DOS. There weill be no 3dFx Support, no Open GL support, No DitectX support, No Direct SOund Support. Windows 2000 was not designed with game support as a priority. Some work, most don't. I'm just not sure what game you could possible want to play in DOS with no support for the hardware..
