Please help me. Has anyone had this problem? I recently uninstalled adaptic cd 5 and installed adaptic cd 4 in its place. After doing so I booted only to get this :

*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF5063848,0xC0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)
INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

If this is the first timeyou've seen this Stop error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
These steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed
hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive
to make sure it is properly configured and terminated.
Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then
restart your computer

Refer to your Getting Started manual for more information on
troubleshooting Stop errors.

I was told it could be the drivers from the install of adaptic cd 4. I checked all my drives and there fine. I checked even the cables and there fine. Someone help.

Hi,
This is a problem of compatibility.

1-Find HCL (Hardware compatibility List) on microsoft site.

2-reboot your PC, and at the start press F8 where you have at the down of screen the initializing. So, select "Last configuration" and if your computer don't work correct read the HCL. Else write a topic at microsoft site.

Best regards,
Azazel

I just had this same problem today. I uninstalled Adaptec 5.0 due to the know issues with win2k. Then rebooted and received the above error msg. Has anyone had this same problem and/or know how to go about fixing it?
