Hi! I have a dula boot win98 and win2k, no partition. Been using it a while and all of a sudden i cant start win2k anymore. before the log on window pops up the computer reboots. So cant use win2k, but 98 still running good. Help?
Can you boot into safe mode? Do you have Adaptec Easy CD creator installed? Do you have Media Player 7 installed?
Most likely are getting a stop error that you do not see because Windows is set to auto reboot on stop errors (blue screens). If you can get into safe mode, turn off that option under system properties, advanced, startup and recovery.
If you have either Media Player 7 or Easy CD Creator installed you should look at Microsoft KB article Q237468.
