Win2k Shutdown, Just RESTARTS instead

Hello,
I have had 2k for about 4 days and for about 2 days it has not Shutdown after selecting Shutdown. Its just restarts the computer and i have to turn it off by hand..
I have ME and this shutdown by itself. So why does 2k not do this.

I have had the same issue with win2k (sp1)and have found the cause...Go to Device Manager and select "view" then from the dropdown menu, select "show hidden devices". You should then see some devices not previously shown. Find NT APM/Legacy support, and go to properties. Enable this device and reboot. Then try a shutdown. It should now be fixed. :)

You could have a program running that is interferring with the shutdown process.

You can not see it, because your mainboard does not support this funktion same as mine. I fixed it under win NT, but did not fix it the powerdown on shutdown on 2000 yet. I will tell you as soon as I fix it on win 2k
