I have got windows 2000 professional with 2 NTFS partitions. I want to secure my system in such a way that only I could login to domain and nobody else can login from my computer. Is there any way to get such security for my workstation.

You would have to be a member of either the 'Domain admins', 'Schema admins', or 'Enterprise admins' group to do this. The reason being, you're talking about administering a domain GPO.
If you're not a member of one of the aforementioned groups...go talk to your net admin about setting your PC up this way for you.
