Win2k p2p network using a compaq laptop

I have tried countless times to get my laptop tp see my PC, both have the same workgroup name, protocols and UID. The pc sees the laptop name but will not allow to browse, "Network path not found". Both have the correct NIC drivers, i cant see the laptop polling the network though, it uses a dongleless PCMCIA card 10/100 Eternet, using NTFS file system, through a 5 port 10mb hub, all cables are fine hub is fine but patients not. HELP!!!
