Comment:

I have a new install of Win2k server on a Compaq AP400. The install appeared to go fine but when it restarts I can only boot in safe mode. If I try and boot normally, it gets as far as the "Starting up..." screen and hangs. If I boot in safe mode and look at the event viewer it says the Security Accounts Manager failed to start with error 1007 "No attempts to start the service have been made since the last boot". Help...?
