I have W2K installed on a laptop. My login password is verified through my office's domain. I was logged on and switched my network properties from my office's domain name to my home workgroup in an attemp to network my computers at home. Now when I try to log in my password won't work.

Do you have a local password on the laptop? Or do you know the local Administrator password for the laptop?

When you're trying to log onto the domain...are you opening the pulldown menu at the bottom of the login screen and choosing the domain (the "Log on to" menu)? If not, try it. If you have, or you do, and it still doesn't work....you're going to have to take the laptop in to the network admin and have him fix it up. While you're there, ask him about setting you up two hardware profiles....one for the domain at work, and one for home.
