Hey, now it turns on but when i go to install windows 2000 it turns off after it tries to boot into the windows 2000 installations... Plz Help

I am having the same problem. Every time w2k checks for hardware after rebooting up it freezes up. I'm not sure what to do. if you get any help let me know. thanks!
radford: your going to have to start swapping hardeare
Nelson: Do you have an ata 100 drive, cable and controlloer on the mb, if so you need the driver and will have to press F6 during installation so W2K can boot after install is complete, win2k views the ata100 ctrl as a scsi device

Just at the beginning you are asked to press F6 to add aditional bla bla bla, press F5 and chose "STANDARD PC", this will disallow the installation of the ACPI which uses one interrupt for graphics, network and so on and causes your problems. Be sure to set the interrupt - distribution prior in the BIOS correctly (one interrupt for one card). The other (and better) solution is to use LINUX.
