win2k how can i change the pruduct key

i have installed the win2k server with the product key from a friend because i could not find my own key. i have now found my key and i can't change the product key.

I think the product key is encrypted into the hive file. It is a hash. To change it the original file must be de-encrypted, or deleted completely and windows 2000 reinstalled with the new key.
I do not know of any program or hack available to decrypt the hive and re-encrypt it. There is a program to reset/change the admin password hash, but not for the product key.
