I've got an application that prints payslips onto continuous feed stationery using a Dot Matrix printer. Historically this has worked on NT & Win 9x using the Generic Text Only driver and a custom paper size. Now printing from a Win2K PC, the printer ignores any reference to custom paper sizes. Subsequently, only the 1st payslip is lined up with the stationery.
Any help would be great as this is driving me nuts.

You would have to look up the control codes for your Dot Matrix printer. I just setup an Okidata ML 192Plus under Windows2000 that was working on a Win9x machine. The codes did not convert directly over. Windows2000 converts characters and some codes over to decimal when you need ASCII so be careful. Double check your codes after you close the properties window of the printer driver. Some of the codes say to enter 0 when they really want ASCII 00 not decimal 0 which is actually ASCII 32. In your Generic Printer Driver under Printer Commands, you can specify these commands. For example ESC is <1B>.
