Comment:
I just recently reformated my hard drive, and now I wanna slap some new display drivers for my moniter. The only problem is that win2k just shows the moniter as "default moniter" so I cant change the driver, because the properties button is greyed out. I have IE 6 and SP 2 on here already if that helps any.

Find the drivers on the internet if you don't already have them and load the drivers for the monitor from disk. That is what I had to do with my Mag monitor.

o start->setting->control panel->system o go to hardware tab o look for 'device manager' button and click. o look under Monitors and expand the tree, double click on default monitor o the properties page of the monitor will pop up. o go to driver tab o click on 'driver update' o 'Search for a suitable....' selected, click next. o select and check the location where you have your driver. and click next. o windows should copy and update the driver successfully if you have correct driver.
