Win2k Boot /Initialization Problem.

In my system redhat linux and windows2000 two operating systems are installed. So, while booting it shows two options to select Linux or DOS. When I select DOS it goes to DOS with C: and black screen inspite of initilizing windows. What may be problem. Any answer will be appriciated. Thanks in advance.
