win2k boot failure

CPU/Ram: athlon 2400/512 ddr pc210

i put in everythign correctly, but when i try the windows 2000 disk, it stays stuck at "inspecting your system's confiugration." it doesn't freeze, it just sits there. any ideas?

-amd athlon 2400+
-512 kingston pc2100 ddr ram.
-geforce fx 5200, 128 mb
-maxtor 120 gb, 7200 rpm, 8 mb cache
-x-dreamer black turbo case.
-sony 52x24x52x burner
-logitech cordless mouse and keyboard
-mainboard k7s5a pro
-350w antec powersupply

Try to enter the machine BIOS and load the default settings (safe configuration).
