Hi.

I've stumbled onto something. I've got about 50 or so files (mainly .xls but some others) that I want to grab and put in another directory via a batch file. Problem is that bat files don't seem to do anything other than 8+3 format and all of these files have long filenames and it isn't realistic to change the filenames as they link to other fies, etc. Does anyone know of a work-around?

Thanks in advance

Eric

I don't know of a workaround with a DOS batch file, but you may want to search the internet for some VB scripts...
