At the moment I do it at the command line. I have one tape that covers Mon-thurs. I've got 5 weeks labelled diff1 diff2 etc.
Problem is that I know at the end of this cycle I will run into "non-unique tape name problem" and I really would rather do away with all the scripts.
But in the gui whatever I choose normal/incremental etc. the append option is always greyed out.
Now I've read lotsa stuff on RSM and win2k backup but haven't found one intelligent discussion of these problems - ditto for web searchs. Help - pleeease...
Frankly I can't believe that Microsoft downgraded this program so badly. But I've learnt my lesson - never again.
