Win2k AutoShutDown everyday at same time

How does one automate the Win2k Pro or Server logoff or shutdown every day at the same fixed time ?

You can use Shutdown.exe from the WinNT Resource Kit.

Write a batch file along the lines

SHUTDOWN \\MACHINENAME /T:30

the /T is the time a user on that machine has to save work or logoff before the machine goes into shutdown. Save the file to the same dir as Shutdown.exe.

You can then use task scheduler to schedule the batch fle.
