I burned this copy of Windows 2000 Advanced Server and when I try to boot from the CD it won't boot. I burnt it using Nero, and it seems fine. I currently have win2k pro installed and the copy of Windows 2000 Advanced Server that I burnt autoloads fine in it. I want to do a fresh install of Win2kAS. How the hell am I supposed to do that if I can't boot from the CD? And please don't tell me to use boot disks. Shouldn't I be able to boot from the Win2kAS CD? Is there some kind of copy protection on the CD or something? Please help ASAP. E-mail me, thanks. pawitko@hotmail.com

You must make an image of the original cd onto the hard drive, then burn the image, instead of a direct burn from cd to cd.

Are you going to dual boot W2k & W2kAS? If so just run setup from W2k and install into a different partition. You will be fine
