Comment:
I have recently upgraded to Windows 2000 from Windows 98 and have found that there is no MSCONFIG, I tried typing MSCONFIG in the run box but it says that it cant be found.
Is MSCONFIG in Windows 2000 or do I have to download a similar program which does the same job?

Don't worry I have found out how to get it working:-
For those of you who have experienced the same problem go to http://www.techadvice.com/win2000/m/msconfig_w2k.htm and download msconfig

There's nothing built in. However, there is something you can download and install. If you search "Startup Control" (a great freeware app written by Mike Lin) at www.google.com and download and install it that will do the same job nicely for you (in fact, I prefer it)
