When i restart the computer for the first time duting the installation of Win2000 i always get a blue screen with a KMOD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED message. No way to get around this... What should I do? (the hardware configuration is all right, i used to run linux and winMe on it)

Sounds like a Bios upgrade is in order. If you have had Linux setup then you must know the importance of a current Bios. Win2K needs an F3 or later to operate properly.
