Anyone have problems with win2k assigning drive letters? Mine jump around (have four partitions) C: E: I: and J: with the CD-Rom being H:. Is there any way to change them?

go to disk admin and change the letter to last on e or one more down. reboot, and change the others.

What ? Disk admin ? I have used 2000 for some time now, and feel stupid asking this, but I cant figure out to change drive letters either .... Its making me very mad - please help me set and assign new drive letters to my devices ! thnx .

Nevermind, I see --- OK, START > PROGRAMS > ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS > COMPUTER MANAGEMNET > DISK MANAGMENT > Then go the bottom right of window, scroll down, right click on the drive letter to change, select change drive letter, then change it. Only hard disks will be shown in the main window, but all other drives are shown in the "scrollie" - STUPID RETARDED WAY TO DO IT MICROSOFT ! Dumb asses.

OK how do you change it when the drive had swapped over by themselves, and will not boot. As my f:disk is now c: . f:disk was blank so the system will not boot ????????
