OK, my favorite game out there is probobly Descent2, and a while back a program called d2_3dfx was released which lets the game use a voodoo2 card instead of the crummy software rendering. This works great in win'98, but in win2k the program will not start. Apparently the problem is due to the lack of good DOS emulation in win2k, so my question is... are there any programs out there that can provide good DOS emulation similar to win'98's perhaps? or is there another option? d2_3dfx's web site is: http://descent2.com/patches/d2_3dfx/ and they say that the patch does not work under winNT (also 2k) because of lack of DOS emulation... help please!
