win installer comes on opening prog

When opening any MSN program, Outlook, Word etc... An error message comes up asking to reinstall the program. Outlook starts to open then the message "this application must be installed to run." When I try to reinstall it a message comes up and says that program can't be found or path not set right. I get my mail from a server. Word won't open either or reinstall. All other programs that are not microsoft base open just find.
