win 2k wont shut down/restart

When I try to restart or shut down the nothing happens. I can just work as usual in win2k. What's the deal?

I have the same problem with Win2k as you discribed! Do you have an solution how to fix it? Let me please know because it's very frustrating when your pc doesn't work the way you want him to.

Check the Event View under Administrative Tools in the Control Panel. This may give you a clue as to what's going on. Chances are there is some process that's still running in the background preventing shutdown/restart.
Also try running Disk Cleanup, Defrag, and check the drivers for your CRT/Monitor. Incorrect monitor drivers can cause hangs on shutdown.
