During setup, it tells me my primary hard drive partition is corrupt and can not be repaired then wont continue. Trying to install on different partition. Master hd is new and has been formatted fat32 and is running win me. Hard drive im trying to install win 2k on is also fat32.

Win2k is best suited on NTFS format. This is what is was made for. Win ME and Win 2k pro will have issues due to their 32 bit infrastructure has DLL files that disagree. Your best bet is to FDISK and Format then do a clean install. If problem still occurs you hard drive is bad. Remember....format the hosting partition to NTFS.

W2K is equally happy as FAT32 or NTFS; you can (should be able to) install as FAT32 and go NTFS later (if you really need to). You have ME installed; if you used ME to prepare the FAT32 partition then it's probably your main problem - W2K will not install into a FAT32 partition prepared in advance by ME...
