I am yet another person with a Win 2000 upgrade problem. I had a successful upgrade from Win 98SE to Windows 2000 and conversion to NFTS. After 6 good reboots theOS woul not boot. There was a brief blue screen with a reference to the ntdll.dll. I could not boot up in safe or any other mode. I upgraded the award bios to APCI, etc. My 'puter is a 333MHz 128 RAM PII. If this is a hardware conflict, what is it. I am back to my extremely stable WIn98SE, after loing everything except fo my backup data files.

Upgrades suck. Do a clean install of win2k and you'll never go back.
I tried an upgrade on my old man's and he had nothing but problems.
If you have your important stuff backed up go for it.
