I have mapped drives on my win 2k machine to the other computers in my home network which are password protected..on reboot of my win 2K machine I have to re enter the pass word for each mapped drive at log on..But my other computers which are 98s have the password saved.. is there a way to save the password in Win 2K so I don't have to enter it every time I reboot. Thanks in advance

If it's a home network... just remove the passwords on the Win 95/98 shares. Leave em blank and you'll never have to enter passwords again...

No you can't do it with a win2k machine for the following reason:
In Windows 95/98, you use password lists which let you save passwords for multiple resources in the 1 file. When you log in with the username associated with that that file, it applies the saved passwords to the prompts would normally receive to re-authenticate to those resources.
Windows 2000 is a much more secure OS which does not make use of password files.
I'm not sure about this but if you change the password on the shares to the same password you are using to log into your win2k machine then that may do it.
