Every time I run Norton Antivirus, my Win 2K professional crashes. A blue screen appears and the operation never gets done.

The blue screen says something like this: TRAP_CAUSE_UNKNOWN - Starting physical memory dumping.

I have not used the last SP for W2K and my Norton Antivirus is 2002.

Thanks

If you're sure NAV is the culprit, you may need to do a complete uninstall/reinstall. Sometimes if you dl a bad dat file, the glitch will appear and you'll pull out your hair trying to figure what went wrong. I know, it happened to me! :)

If you have another virus scan installed, such as McAfee, the two virus scanners will cause the machine to crash. Try uninstalling any other virus scanning software you have and then do a complete uninstall/reinstall of NAV.

Good luck!
