My windows 2000 won't boot with ultra DMA cable. I have exauted all my possibilities. please anyone who have knowlege in such matter please feel free to contact me at the web adresss above.

Check that the correct end of the cable is connected to the motherboard, IDE channel. It is usually the blue end that is used to connect to the motherboard and then the black end is to your harddrive.

If you have ultra66/100 controller on the MB then you must hook up your Harddrive to the IDE port cause you may not have the drivers for the ultra controller installed. If you do then you must set it up in the BIOS to boot from the ATA instead of IDE,
