I've looked through your site and tried a million things it seems. My question is, could it be that my new CompUSA power supply just is crap and doesn't work well with my Gateway/Intel motherboard? If I install all (3) 128MB memory modules, it gives me this ACPI error, if I only install (2) of the 128MB memory modules, it seems to work past that error but give me file copy errors in Win 2000 Pro install and Win XP Pro installs, what is wrong? I don't understand.

I had similar problems with a QDI motherboard, that were solved by updating BIOS firmware. If this doesn't work, i recommend you to use only memory modules from the same manufacturer, speed and specifications between themselves, and if possible, from the same manufacturer as the motherboard. you can do the test by trying installation with an only memory module, mostly the one that came from factory with the computer.
