Comment: Hi, I was wondering if any of you know (or know web pages) that describe how Windows 2000 Pro handles: 1)File Storage & Retrieval (any files storage...say saving and opening word document in Microsoft Word 97/2000) 2)Program Execution (any Windows-based applications...say Microsoft Word 97/2000) Your help is greatly appreciated.

Reply: (edit)This is like asking is a watermellon taste like a watermellon. Basicly it dosent matter what os your on office is office. Their might be some changes but all files that are open from and old office and then open to a new office will not have any problems. Now opening new files in and old office then you might have problems. Win 2k is just like any other os. No different expect when you get into security feature and the more serious stuff then their are a few differences. But that doesnt effect anything. Remember windows is windows if it taste like a watermellon its gotta be one. hint hint
