We have bought a batch of reconditioned pc's which basically had the hard drive formatted. I have installed 2000, and can browse our network and see/access all the computers & servers on our network, but.
I cannot get on the internet. All the PC's we currently have, either have no settings and can get online, or the Auto detect option is ticked and it finds its own way there. But not this one, and I presume the others will be the same. Any ideas would be much appreciated, as all I keep getting is the standard 'The page cannot be displayed' message.

Thanks,
Garyb

Have you checked your DNS and/or DHCP servers?

The computer with direct Internet access's Network Card should have a static IP address of 192.168.0.1 with a sub net mask of 255.255.255.0 and no gateway then all the client PC's should have automatically detect selected
