Comment:
I have Win 2000 and was given a HP Scan 3200C with CD Software. When I go to load the software it say "Software only compatable with in 95 & 98". I tried going to the HP site but still can't see software compatable with 2000. Any ideas?

Unfortunately my friend hp hasn't yet released the drivers for the 3200c to work undre win2k. But fortunately for all of us using the 3200c scanjet, win2k recognizes the device as Umax astra 1220P!So, all you have to do is to go to your control panel,Add new hardware and let win2k recognize your printer. Then go to www.umax.com/scanners/standard/support/software.cfm find from the drop down window the model umax astra 1220p and from the os menu select winnt 4.0 and not win2000(be careful)! Then download the software extract it to a folder and install it! That,s it!
