hmm, okay well, i know why it won't work, i just put that as the subject so as many people as possible would read it.. okay, here's the problem; when i go to open napster it says "the procedure entry point WMCreatereaderPriv could not be located in the dll WMVCore.dll" what the hell does that mean?!?! I know there's a broken DLL, and I've reinstalled napster, as the required DLL's should come with the program rite? but it still won't let me open it.. I haven't ever had a broken DLL before and i want to know how do i repair it or get a new one of it? phew! that was pretty long, if you've read down this far you're either pretty bored or really want to help me, I hope it's the later. cheers

Try searching google.com or altavista.com for the file, when this kind of thing happens to me i usally find that a lot of ppl have the same problem. But i have Win2k and napster works fine, are you using the newest version?

One thing you may wish to consider is, uninstall Napter, shut down all programs, then reinstall Napster. If you have anything like 'Crash Protection' or 'Anti Virus Software', turn it off before reinstalling. I run the beta version of Napster, its not too bad. It will CRASH the system if I run Quake or let it run for several hours. I personally think the Beta version has a memory leak of one kind or another but thats just my guesss...
