why does ie startup automatically

why does my internet explorer automatically startup everytime I startup my computer. It has nothing to do with startup cuz I checked so I dont know what could be the problem. Any help would be great.

Try checking your startup folder in the start menu, programs folder. OR try msconfig in the run box (start -run). If you have w2k, do a google search for msconfig, download it, run it, and go to the start up tab, and uncheck iexplorer.
