Where's my address book

I just installed Outlook (2000 I believe) over express and entered all my contacts in the address book. It took quite some time and I never want to have to do it again. I want to make a backup to disc but cannot find the file. I have done a search for *.wab files but the address books that come up have no content. I made sure my "show hidden files" is checked. Where is this file with my new contact info? Thanks in advance.

Actually, you want the pst files.
And for future reference, you could have imported the files from Outlook Express, along with all the e-mails and folders, through File, Import in Outlook. Saves a lot of typing.
Now, go to File, Export and follow the steps to export your address book and then have it Export the file to your MY Documents folder.
You can now copy it to a floppy or Zip or CD disk.
