Where to install VGA drivers?

The VGA driver installation software I obtained for this Giga-Byte mo'board is actually an exe file. When I click on it, it opens, then asks me where I want the drivers installed. How should I know? So I'm asking, in what folder of W2000 Prof. do the VGA drivers need to go? Also, in what folder do the LAN drivers need to go? Thanks.

If the exe is a drivers setup program you can open it and send the files to: C:\vgadrv Drivers can be in any folder where the Windows can find them.On the first reboot after executing the program,Windows will detect the hardware and find the drivers from the folder you chose previously. If need be you can browse to the folder but this is rather the old fashioned way like Win95 used to do.Modern drivers setup programs are easy to use and don't normally point to a folder. You run the program and reboot to complete setup.Good luck.
