I have a windowes 2000 computer. All of a sudden when I try to delete files it goes to the recycle bin then I empty the recycle bin and when I reboot the messages are back again.

Any ideas??

deleting files and deleting messages are very different things.

what messages? what program are the messages in?

Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.

Try deleting the recycler folder. It'll recreate itself when you reboot.

Hi:
I am trying to delete ms word documents and pdf files etc etc.

They go into the recycle bin and I empty the recycle bin but when I restart the pc the files are back on the desktop??

Sounds like some malware to me! RUN A SPYWARE SCANNER such as adaware or spybot.

run an online virus scanner such as: www.microtrends.com.
