Hi -,

I am just upgrading home pc from WE to Win2k, and found that pchschd.exe can not be scheduled as it was under WE.

My questions are,
1) What is pchschd.exe? What is it trying to do?
2) Do I still have to schedule it under Win2k?

Your help would be deeply appreciated!

Thanks,

Jackie Tang

Doing an Internet search I found that this is some sort of Microsoft utility that; "PCHSchd.exe -s - Help and Support / Online Assisted Support / System Restore / System File Protection / Automatic Updates". No you do not need it Windows 2000 has it's own automatic update service, if you choose to install it.
