What is CSC Notification

When I go to close down windows 2000 the computer hangs and gives me a CSC notification. does anyone know what this is and what i do to get rid of it. It happens everytime i want to turn my computer off.

Are you running a Cisco wireless network adapter? We're having the same problem and can't determine if it's a Windows 2000 error or if it's generated by the wireless card.

We have the same problem on our computers, if you search the registry then you can find something about cache etc. that must have something to do with the csc notification thing, but does anyone know wich program that creates this little damn program? =)

I have the same error when I shutdown my computer. I have installed Windows 2000 Pro (Spanish version), and the path for application compatibility, roxio cd-creator 5.0 platinum with 5.02 upgrade, HP-8230e drivers installed and Dane-Elec combo reader (for smartmedia and compact flash memory), and the drivers chipset for Intel D815EPE2 motherboard. Now I installed service pack 2 and nothing changes. Appear the same damn error with I shutdown my pc. Anybody have idea what is this error?????
