I am having a weird problem.....
Every time I restart or shut down my computer I get a box up saying "End Program"...there is a status bar that increases while it is "closing" the program. When the status bar is at the fullest, the box switches over to say that the program has stopped responding and if I choose to end the program I will lose any unsaved info.
At the top of the box it says 'explorer.exe'.
I have no idea why this is happening.
The only programs that I have on my start menu are as follows:
AVG Virus
Mustek scanner
Desktop Architect
I would appreciate any help in this matter. Thanks.

I had the same problem...My explorer.exe was not responding to the shutdown request. What I done was I went to task manager and increased the piority on my explorer.exe to above normal. Worked for me..
